Job Description

Sapsucker, Canada’s best naturally sweetened sparkling water, is seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Specialist to join our team. This freelance position involves developing and executing engaging digital content across various platforms to enhance brand visibility and drive customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO and e-commerce integration, along with proficiency in graphic design tools and social media management applications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape our online presence and connect with our target audience effectively.


Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience in digital marketing or social media management, preferably within an e-commerce environment.
  • Graphic Design Skills: Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Social Media Management: Hands-on experience with social media management tool Sprout Social.
  • SEO Knowledge: Knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research techniques, and Google Analytics for data analysis.
  • Advertising Experience: Experience running Facebook Advertising campaigns is highly desirable.
  • Proofreading Skills: Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail in content creation.
  • Creative Content Development: Ability to develop creative content that aligns with brand voice and marketing goals.
  • Sprout Social Experience: 2 years (required).
  • Consumer Packaged Goods Experience: 1 year (required).
  • Willingness to Travel: 25% (required).
  • Work Location: Remote.

Duties

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Create compelling visual content using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite to support marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct keyword research and optimize content for SEO to improve organic reach and search engine rankings.
  • Manage social media scheduling tools like Sprout Social to ensure consistent posting schedules.
  • Proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency before publishing.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster community interaction to build brand loyalty.
  • Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends and platform updates to continuously refine social media strategies.
