Job Description

Our Media specializes in providing end-to-end digital support to privately-owned, mid-sized companies, often with multiple brick-and-mortar locations and small marketing teams. Based in Toronto, ON, we work as our clients’ in-house digital team, specializing in digital marketing, web development, and creative services. We focus on trust, transparency, and ROI-driven results that scale business profitability.
We’re seeking a dynamic Social Media Graphic Designer to join our team! If you’re a creative designer with a passion for social media and bringing ideas to life, we want to hear from you. In this role, you’ll craft eye-catching visuals that drive engagement, elevate our client’s brands, and help tell compelling stories across all major platforms. We’re looking for someone who stays ahead of trends, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working on a team.
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- 3-5 years of Graphic Design experience, preferably in agency or client-facing environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative, design, and editing skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Canva, Figma, etc.
- Proven experience designing specifically for social media formats and marketing.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and motion design basics.
- Proficiency in video editing software and social media management tools.
- Excellent writing skills with ability to adapt tone and voice for different brands.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and organization skills.
- Experience with AI content generation tools and optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Create engaging short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories) that showcases client businesses authentically.
- Create on-brand visual assets including posts, ads, stories, reels, and thumbnails.
- Create marketing material for clients that follow brand design guidelines.
- Write compelling captions, scripts, and social media copy that drives engagement.
- Edit photos and videos using appropriate mobile and desktop editing tools.
- Repurpose content across multiple platforms and formats to maximize reach.
Social Media Management
- Develop and execute social media strategies for multiple client accounts.
- Ensure all content aligns with current trends, audience preferences, and platform best practices.
- Manage posting schedules and editorial calendars across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn).
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments, and build community around client brands.
- Stay current with social media trends and platform algorithm changes.
Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce cohesive and high-performing campaigns.
- Participate in brainstorming and contribute creative concepts.
- Represent our brand values of authenticity, transparency, and community.
- Participate in Our Media’s own social media content and marketing initiatives.
Client Collaboration
- Work with clients to understand their brand voice, goals, and vision.
- Present content strategies and campaign results to clients.
- Build strong relationships that drive client satisfaction and retention.
Project Management
- Manage multiple client accounts and deadlines simultaneously.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure integrated campaign delivery.
- Manage efficient workflows and deliver creative assets within deadlines.
- Track content performance and provide insights for optimization.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and error-free design assets.
