Job Description

Marketing Direction, a B2B marketing agency, is looking for a Freelance Graphic Designer with expertise in WordPress page builders. This fully remote position is ideal for the Southeast US region and involves working on ongoing projects that balance graphic design and WordPress website development. Responsibilities are split evenly between creating digital marketing materials, print collateral, and designing websites using visual page builders like Elementor and Divi.

Requirements

Qualifications Required:

• Portfolio showcasing both graphic design AND WordPress website work (required)
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Solid WordPress experience with page builders (Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, or similar)
• Print production knowledge - can deliver print-ready files with proper CMYK color, resolution, and bleed specs
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS - comfortable making basic edits and troubleshooting
• Performance-conscious - builds fast-loading sites, not just beautiful ones
• Basic SEO knowledge - understands on-page optimization best practices
• 3-5 years experience in graphic design and WordPress website building (marketing agency experience preferred)

Preferred (Bonus Skills):

• Marketing agency or multi-client freelance experience in B2B professional services firms (accounting, legal, consulting, healthcare)
• Presentation Design: Proficient in PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote
• WordPress Technical: Familiarity with SEO plugins (AIOSEO, Yoast, Rank Math), managed hosting (WPEngine, Kinsta), DNS configuration
• Marketing Platforms: Experience with email marketing (Constant Contact, Mailchimp, HubSpot, GoHighLevel), marketing automation
• SEO Tools: Knowledge of SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Search Console
• Additional Creative Skills: Brand development, photography, video editing
