Job Description

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to lead content planning and day-to-day execution across our channels, with a strong focus on real-time storytelling, community moments, and consistent brand voice. This role will help build a repeatable content system that works across a multi-city roadshow (live moments, partners, press beats, and brand ambassadors).

Requirements

  • Proven social media experience for mission-driven brands, cultural programming, or live events
  • Strong short-form video instincts (hooks, pacing, captions, storytelling)
  • Excellent writing + editing (you can turn raw moments into compelling narrative)
  • Organized + process-minded (comfortable creating structure where it’s needed)
  • Comfortable collaborating across multiple stakeholders and fast-moving environments

What You’ll Do

  • Own our social content calendar (weekly planning + day-of flexibility)
  • Capture and translate Roadshow moments into high-quality posts (IG, TikTok, X/Threads, LinkedIn as relevant)
  • Coordinate with on-the-ground teams (brand ambassadors, community partners, production/programs) to ensure we don’t miss key moments
  • Create clear “what to capture” guidance + shot lists for each stop
  • Draft copy that’s mission-forward, culturally fluent, and consistent
  • Manage posting, community engagement, and light moderation
  • Track performance (what’s working, what’s not) and share quick weekly insights
  • Build a lightweight, standardized workflow for approvals, asset intake, and posting so content doesn’t get bottlenecked

Nice to Have (Advantage)

  • Experience covering tours/roadshows, festivals, pop-ups, or community activations
  • Ability to coordinate with photographers/videographers or direct capture remotely
  • Familiarity with press moments / PR coordination (knowing what’s “newsworthy”)
  • Experience building templates/SOPs for content systems

Any combination of: Later/Sprout/Hootsuite, Google Drive/Dropbox, Airtable/Notion, CapCut/Premiere, Canva/Figma

Additional Information

Pay: Up to $40.00 per hour
