Compensation: $67–$75/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 20 hours/week

Requirements

Qualifications

Must-Have

• PhD in Design or related field, or MFA in Design with 3+ years applied design, teaching, or research experience, or BFA/BA in Design with 5+ years applied industrial, graphic, UX, or product design experience.
• Working fluency in at least two of: industrial design, graphic design, UX, product design, design research.
• Comfortable reading and interpreting design mockups, wireframes, typography systems, and industrial drawings.
• Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form.

Role Responsibilities

• Author, review, and annotate technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on design problems.
• Produce original problem sets grounded in design mockups, wireframes, typography systems, and industrial drawings.
• Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to ensure task quality and relevance.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
