Social Media Content Strategist & Video Editor for Growing UK Services Brand

Hound & Turf is a new independent business in West Sussex specialising in professional artificial grass cleaning and garden hygiene for homes with dogs. We are looking for a social media content strategist and video editor to build our social presence from the start. You will advise on what to film, how to film it, and how to turn raw footage of jobs, before-and-afters, behind the scenes, customer transformations and business life into engaging content.

We need someone who can develop platform-specific content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and, eventually, YouTube, rather than reposting the same video everywhere. The content should feel premium and professional without becoming corporate, with an understanding of UK audiences and dry British humour. You should bring ideas, suggest hooks and formats, identify opportunities in footage, and give honest feedback on what is working. This will begin with a paid trial and may become an ongoing remote role.

I’m Max, the founder of Hound & Turf, a new independent business based in Horsham, West Sussex. I’m building the business from the ground up and want to do the same with the brand and social media rather than treating it as an afterthought. I’m hands-on, happy to be on camera and I’ve got plenty of ideas, but social media strategy and editing aren’t my area of expertise, which is why I’m looking for someone who can bring their own creativity and experience to it. I’m easy to work with, open to ideas and feedback, and would love to find someone who genuinely enjoys the project and can potentially work with me longer term as Hound & Turf grows.
