I derive great satisfaction from teaching all ages, particularly in developing visual literacy and encouraging a student’s potential. For the last 10 years I have run an Art department at an independent school, designing an inclusive curriculum and established a scholarship program and have continued to work with students up to age 18, in school and as a private teacher/mentor, with many students regularly contacting me to share their artistic successes. Since 1999 I have worked as a freelance illustrator and painter, tailoring illustration to varied clients.
