Graphic Production Artist

Graphic Designer is needed in Dana Point, United States.

A stable and growing educational travel company located in Bainbridge Island, WA, is seeking a part-time graphic production artist to assist with page layout and other print production processes.

This off-site position is ideal for a well-established freelancer looking to add an additional client for 10-30 hours per week, depending on our print production scheduling.

The graphic production artist will report directly to our Art & Creative Manager located in Orange County, CA, and will also interact closely with our Marketing team. You may be required to travel to our main office periodically.

NOTE: This is NOT a creative graphic designer position. It does, however, require some experience in this area, as you may be assigned some various design tasks from time to time.

Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following

• High quantity of content editing of 4-color marketing pieces with multiple versions
• Assist with prepping art files for outside printer
• Update graphic elements for program marketing on cobranded partner sites
• Assist with producing various marketing collateral, including but not limited to proposals, flyers, and name badges, plus general corporate materials like business cards, and more

Requirements

• 4-5 years hands-on experience in a print production environment, specifically with page layout
• Impeccable attention to detail and ability to multi-task with efficiency
• Must be able to accommodate fast turnaround times for projects once assigned
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign specifically; experience with Acrobat, Photoshop and Illustrator a plus (on Mac OS)
• Experience with Google applications, including Gmail, Drive, Calendar, etc.
• Ability to work with cross functional teams and adapting to changing business needs
• Hourly compensation will depend on experience. Please do not apply if you do not have a very strong skill set in InDesign page layout.
