Graphic Designer

Graphic Designer is needed in Coventry, United Kingdom.

ZAPINAMO Ltd are seeking a freelance Graphic Designer to work in their Coventry HQ on a temporary, 3-month contract which may extend further.

Due to recent and further forecasted growth, we’re looking for a talented team member to get involved in numerous aspects of the business, including producing marketing collateral, website and hardware design.

Working alongside the Marketing Manager, you’ll be working cross departmentally to achieve quick deadlines alongside working on several longer-term projects.

The role requires a flexible attitude, with the ability to think strategically and independently to create carefully considered designs that are supported by compelling copy. Applicants must be multi-talented in designing for various mediums, with a range of multi-channel collateral required.

Key Responsibilities

• Close partnership in establishing brand and stylisation guidelines alongside Marketing Manager
• Creation of high-quality internal documents
• Creation of external marketing communications – including social media graphics, website banners and printed collateral
• Website and interface design, working closely with our software developers
• Hardware design on the stylisation of our hardware products – working closely with our mechanical designer to produce products that are both functionally and aesthetically innovative

Key Requirements

• Degree level or recognised design qualification
• Strong experience in creating designs across a range of mediums and channels
• Be able to demonstrate creative flair and an excellent eye for detail
• Strong working knowledge of the full Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) – own laptop and access to own Adobe Creative Suite required
• Strong knowledge of branding with experience working on a variety of design projects
• Experience of working with Prezi software
• A team player that’s able to communicate efficiently with a variety of different individuals and departments
• A good work and team ethic – ability and motivation to juggle a varied workload and to be able to work to tight deadlines
• Experience in the following is an advantage but not essential – video post-production, animation and strong presentation skills.

Summary of Employment Conditions

• The contract of employment is for a temporary, 3-month contract.
• Contracted hours are 36.5 hours per week – 8.30am till 5pm, 4pm on a Friday with an hour’s unpaid lunch.

The applicant will be required to work from our Coventry HQ during their employment, therefore no remote working applications please.
