Graphic Designer
Graphic Designer is needed in Largo, United States.
This position offers a great opportunity for an in-house, experienced graphic designer to be a part of a small, fast moving and growing design firm. You will be responsible for the production and creation of day-to-day requests as well as the design of new materials. This position requires heavy publication design. Must have a love for type and InDesign. Designer must possess the ability to work as a team and independently on all projects under direct supervision of the Creative Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create graphic content for print (web a plus)
- Explain said graphic content’s logic verbally to the team
- Revise art based on verbal and written feedback
- Prepare files for successful print production and web development
- Maintain and demonstrate knowledge of latest graphic design techniques, technology, trends, and best practices as appropriate to current projects
- Manage inflow and outflow of projects
- Prioritize projects and multitask
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of InDesign a must (particularly with multi-pages, tables & style sheets)
- Very strong organization & communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
- Works well under pressure
- Self-disciplined and independent by nature
- Pride in attention to detail, efficiency and error-free work
- Must be self-motivated, driven individual who is able to show creativity, strong work ethic, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- A love for learning and creative thinking
- A portfolio of branding, marketing and advertising samples in print (web a plus)
- Advanced design and production skills using current Mac versions of Adobe Creative Suite
- Video knowledge/experience a plus (Premiere & After Effects)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Responsive Design, HTML and CSS a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or more in Graphic Design or related field a plus

Job Duties
- Draft mockups of website designs, brochures, iconography, and any other marketing materials required
- Collaborate with marketing teams and management to discuss which mockups are effective, and use their feedback to develop final drafts
- Revise the work of previous designers to create a unified aesthetic for our brand materials
- Work on multiple projects at once, and consistently meet draft deadlines
- Communicate frequently with clients to update them on the progress of the project and to answer any questions they might have
