Welcome to Warner Bros. Discovery, a company known for its vast portfolio of iconic content and beloved brands. Rocksteady Studios, an award-winning video game developer based in London, is seeking a Lead UI Artist for the upcoming title Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The ideal candidate will have experience and passion for creating high-quality user interfaces that enhance gameplay experiences.

The Lead UI Artist will work closely with the Art Director and collaborate with a team of developers, artists, and designers to establish UI art direction and maintain a consistent style throughout the project. This role is essential in ensuring an intuitive and enjoyable experience for players and will require a hybrid working model, with some time spent on-site in the London studio.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Excellent knowledge and application of UX, Accessibility, and player-focused design principles in complex game projects, ideally with AAA targets.
• Demonstrable professional graphic design skills, particularly in layout, typography, and color theory.
• Excellent knowledge of Figma and Adobe software for 2D design.
• Familiarity with current interaction and design trends in games, especially across PC and Console titles.
• Experience with Unreal Engine and node-based visual scripting is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Unreal materials/shaders for UI texture optimization and animation is beneficial.
• Motion graphic skills are a bonus (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
• Knowledge of industry-standard Game Development 3D software is helpful.
