Job Description
The Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in bringing the marketing campaigns to life across the Retail and CRM channels for L’OCCITANE in the US and CANADA, creating and executing in-store collateral and direct mail from concept to completion. This role will report into the Senior Director, Creative and Content, and will work closely with Creative, Retail, and Marketing teams to ensure a holistic experience.
Key responsibilities include creating marketing materials for various channels, conceptualizing creative direction, managing photography shoots, and maintaining schedules for timely deliverables. The designer will also own the B2B channel and ensure brand aesthetics are upheld across all touchpoints.
Requirements
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3 years of experience (agency or in-house creative department)
SKILLS:
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Experience with After Effects or other video software; Figma is a plus
- A customer-first outlook, with an interest in the beauty industry as well as industry trends
- Ability to self-manage multiple projects to ensure timely completion
- Capability to manage others, provide feedback, and delegate as needed
- Excellent communication skills, addressing both creative vision and tactical details
- Strong presentation abilities, adept at independent and collaborative work
- Photoshoot experience is a plus
PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work in the office on a hybrid model, 3 days a week
- Less than 10% travel, with possible local travel to stores, studios, or vendors
Additional Information
The compensation for this role ranges from $65,000 - $70,000 for the NYC region. Exact compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to, experience, skills, and geographic location.
This role includes various responsibilities such as creating presentations, managing schedules, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure successful completion of projects.
