Job Description

We are seeking a Senior UI Designer (Design Systems) for a 6-month contract role, which is outside IR35, based in London (Hybrid/South of River). This position involves delivering a Design System piece of work in the Health industry. The role requires some face time in the office, so being commutable to London a couple of days per week is essential.

The Senior UI Designer will be responsible for implementing work with tokens, styles, variables, and modes (light/dark). Candidates must provide specific references to previous work on similar projects when applying.

Requirements

  • Evolve and maintain a design system in Figma to ensure scalability, consistency, and seamless functionality across web and app platforms.
  • Develop visually appealing and intuitive designs that align with the brand strategy.
  • Ensure all designs meet accessibility and web standards, delivering inclusive, high-quality user experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with UX designers, developers, and stakeholders from teams across the business to shape user-centric solutions.
  • Utilize tools such as GA4, Firebase, and Hotjar to inform design decisions and optimize the customer experience.
  • Significant UI design experience, with a portfolio showcasing UI work, as this is a heavily UI leaning role.
