I am a Los Angeles-based screenwriter and creator working on ‘Lords of Longball’, a one-hour FX-style noir drama set in the San Fernando Valley. I am seeking a freelance graphic designer to visually rebuild my existing 15-page pitch deck, elevating it with a bold, cohesive, and cinematic look. The deck’s current content is solid but lacks visual unity; the job requires establishing a full style guide, unifying typography, color palette, grids, and photographic treatments, with a masculine, gritty aesthetic inspired by Sons of Anarchy and the CAPOS deck. The deliverables include a print-ready 8.5×11 PDF and an editable source file (PowerPoint, Keynote, or Canva if well-organized). You should be able to curate or propose suitable images and deliver organized, update-friendly files. I prioritize strong storytelling through design, clear communication, professionalism, and creative collaboration. You’ll start by designing a sample page to lock the style, then apply it to the rest of the deck in 1–2 rounds with feedback. Example references, images, and all content will be provided, and I am looking for a designer who is passionate about cinematic mood, typography, and cohesive layout.

Budget range:
Up to $200

Examples:
Style refs (see uploads):

CAPOS deck (PDF) – reference for consistency, typography discipline, and page-to-page cohesion.

Sons of Anarchy key art – reference for gritty FX vibe: high-contrast, desaturated images, film-grain, bold condensed headlines, strong slab/mono subheads, clean body text.

My current deck (PDF) – content is set, but needs a full visual rebuild to match refs.

Target look: masculine, cinematic, grounded; charcoal/black, bone, rust accents; photo grading consistent across all pages.

Type direction (open to equivalents):
Headlines: condensed sans (e.g., Oswald / Anton / Tungsten-like)
Subheads: slab serif (e.g., Roboto Slab / Rockwell-like)
Body: neutral grotesk (e.g., Inter / Source Sans)

Who are you, and what do you do?
I’m a Los Angeles–based screenwriter and creator developing gritty, character-driven TV pilots. My current project, Lords of Longball, is a one-hour FX-style noir drama about redemption, baseball, and bounty hunting in the San Fernando Valley. I’ve studied philosophy and cinema at USC, worked in the industry, and have been mentored by producers and storytellers who value authentic, cinematic writing. I’m not looking for a cookie-cutter design — I want to collaborate with a designer who can help elevate my existing 15-page pitch deck into something bold, cohesive, and network-ready. My focus is on strong storytelling and a distinct visual identity. I value professionalism, communication, and creative collaboration, and I’m looking for someone who shares that energy.
