Interim Social Media Manager for International School in Barcelona (Part-Time)
Social Media Freelancer is needed in Barcelona, Spain.
We are an established international school in Barcelona seeking an interim Social Media Manager to support our Communications department during a transition period. The freelancer will be responsible for creating and managing content for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, building a content calendar, writing engaging captions in English, covering school events on occasion, and tracking metrics to optimize performance. Experience in social media strategy, copywriting, and analytics is required. Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools is preferred. The role is part-time, over 4–6 months with a possible extension, and is a hybrid position requiring the freelancer to occasionally be onsite in Barcelona to capture content. You will help shape the school’s refreshed online presence and bring a community-focused, visually engaging approach to our brand voice. Applicants must be based in or near Barcelona.
