Job Description
Job title: Freelance Graphic Designer
Contract Type: Freelance, number of days per month dependent on projects. We’re keen to build our network of freelancers.
Location: Shoreditch, London
Reporting into: Senior Marketing Manager / Social Media Director
Line managing: n/a
Hybrid/ Remote: We are happy for this role to be fully remote or come into our office if preferred.
Salary: We’re open to various levels of experience to suit the different projects that we will need support on.
Requirements
We are looking for freelance mid-weight graphic designers to support us during busy times.
The primary role will involve designing engaging, platform-native assets for social media campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other priority platforms. You will also collaborate closely with the Senior Marketing Manager on the creation of case studies, pitch decks, and visual materials for business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design engaging, platform-native assets for social media campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager on various visual projects.
- Work under the guidance of in-house mid-weight designer with clear brand guidelines and examples.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Express, Illustrator, After Effects) and Google Slides.
- Experience with motion graphics and video editing for social media.
- Experience designing clear and visually impactful decks.
- Experience creating dynamic product ads, video creatives, carousel ads, and display advertisements under guidance.
- Detail-oriented with strong quality control processes.
- Canva & Figma experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of social and influencer marketing is a bonus but not mandatory.
Interview Process
1. If you are shortlisted, we will invite you to join a 30-minute virtual call to get to know you better and answer any initial questions.
2. If we think you’d be a great fit, we will then invite you to complete a task relevant to the role, expected to take no more than one hour. A final decision will be made following this.
