    Produce a sleek, easy-to-digest pack that captures the energy of dance music radio station Decadance UK while presenting the brand in a more corporate context for advertisers and partners.

    Designed and produced the South-East Region Senior Members’ Newsletter, for the UK’s largest teaching and education trades union, the NEU. Designed to match existing brand and style guidelines, with additional attention paid to accessibility.

    Brief

    Take a collection of contributions submitted as Microsoft Word Documents, and collate them into a fully designed A4 newsletter. Final product must deliver a consistent, readable, brand-compliant publication suitable for a Senior Members audience, while supporting multiple article types across a full issue.

    • copy sub-editing to fit space constraints and unify tone

    paper OhSo Social - Bar/Restaurant Menu POS (Print)

    Design and layout of a bar restaurant menu for OhSo Socialm a busy beachfront bar and restaurant on Brighton’s metropolitan seafront. Serving a wide variety of dishes and drinks to a crowd of both families and younger, fashion-conscious professionals, they needed a design that felt fresh and modern, while still keeping a hand-crafted feel that set them apart from nearby cookie-cutter corporates.

    Brief

    Create a seasonal menu that feels unmistakably on-brand: modern and premium, but with a crafted character. The layout needed to handle a large amount of information in a constrained tri-fold format, while staying quick to scan at-table.

    Sole designer responsible for typography, layout system, styling, and final artwork.

    • Augmented the existing brand font (Raleway) with additional display faces to give headings more character and improve navigation
    • Created hand-drawn, watercolour-style boxes, highlights and borders to visually separate sections and improve readability
    • Used splattered blue watercolour accents to evoke the nearby surf and strengthen the Brighton seaside cue
    • Built a repeatable layout system to make future seasonal menu updates straightforward
    paper National Education Union (NEU) - Women’s Networking Session Promo (Short-Form Video)

    The NEU is the largest union for teachers and education professionals in the UK. They needed a punchy promotional video to highlight an upcoming women’s networking session across social media. The final piece was produced in a vertical format, designed for mobile-first viewing.

    Create a fast, engaging promo video suitable for social feeds, using supplied mobile footage and existing NEU brand assets, while keeping the final piece visually consistent and professional.

    • Kept brand alignment through NEU typography and logo placement
    • Improved intelligibility by processing the original phone audio with Waves Clarity VX
