Graphic Designer is needed in New York, United States.

Our client has an immediate need for a part-time freelance Graphic Designer to work onsite in their office 2 days per week. You must bring your own laptop.

The ideal candidate will have strong typographhy skills and have strong retail and/or brand experience.

Responsibilities
Work on creative materials inclusive of managing layout, design, content, and copy writing for print and web assets

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree
  • 2 years’ experience in a creative design role within the retail industry, preferably in an agency environment
  • Strong typography, scale and creative skills
  • Retail and/or branding
  • Ability to develop digital graphics and assets for layouts and branding collateral
  • Experience developing creative concepts based on client brief and industry knowledge/experience
  • Ability to work on multiple accounts/ projects simultaneously
  • Presentation experience; presenting and selling-in creative concepts
  • Must have working computer to bring onsite
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat)

Start Date

  • Within 1-2 weeks

Duration

  • 2 months, part-time hours

Pay Rate

  • $30/hr, DOE
