Contract: Fixed term 9 months

Location: Hybrid (Head Office: Q6, Quorum Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne; requiring one day a week in the office)

Hours per week: 22.2

Salary: £16,873.20 pro rata (FTE £28,122)

We’re excited to be looking for a Graphic Designer to join our Brand, Partnerships and Communications team. In this role, you’ll create compelling and informative artwork that will enhance our Active IQ marketing and communications collateral, raising brand awareness and recognition. You’ll work closely to support the marketing campaign, digital content, and PR and communication teams with various design requirements.

Requirements

We’d love to hear from you if you offer the following:

• Experience in working as a graphic designer within an agency or as part of an in-house design team
• Degree in graphic design or equivalent level
• High level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – particularly in Design and Illustrator
• Experience of managing design briefs through to completion
• A strong portfolio showcasing your creative flair and a demonstrable understanding of graphic design fundamentals

Impact

In this role, you’ll make an impact by:

• Creating impactful visual content for our Active IQ brand across all channels including print and digital marketing materials, social media and advertising campaigns, infographics, email templates, corporate documentation, and more.
• Collaborating with marketing, communications, and the wider business to ensure a consistent visual identity across all platforms.
• Developing the NCFE and Active IQ brands through innovative creative ideas and solutions.
• Maintaining a planned work schedule and effectively communicating across the team to manage work requests using our workflow management tool, Monday.com.
