"I worked with Daniel as one of our lead engineers on a military FPV drone training simulator built in Unreal Engine 5, a high-stakes project that needed to go from rough prototype to demo-ready in seven weeks for a live demonstration at IITSec 2025.
The biggest technical win on the project was the drone flight dynamics system. Getting simulated flight to feel believable to real drone pilots is genuinely hard, and Daniel owned that problem end to end. He delivered it on a tight timeline and it held up.
Beyond the technical work, Daniel was a key contributor in the truest sense. He regularly unblocked other developers, stepped into hard problems without being asked, and kept things moving when they could have stalled. He's organized, communicates clearly, and brings a level of institutional knowledge you only get from working on large, complex projects. That kind of experience showed up constantly. He also took time to mentor the junior developers and helped us establish code quality standards that made the whole codebase easier to work in.
